Is about to get so much more exciting.
Thursday morning at 925 my flight leaves for mexico city! a week later I fly to Merida, Yucatan.
I can not even contain my excitement at this point. And just knowing that I'll actually be able to learn some real spanish. AMAZING! You'd think that taking college classes I would have learned a little, but no, the spanish program at ASU is terrible. ABSOLUTELY TERRIBLE.
Anyway just wanted to let the three people that might read this know that I wil be now be gone for 5 weeks in a foreign country. I might get on here when I'm gone but either way I won't be in AMERICA!!
the only sad thing is that Annemarie leaves approx. 3 days after I get back for CHILE. for SIX MONTHS. I don't know what I'm going to do thank God Jake decided to stay.
and that's another thing. I don't know where I want to live next semester. Jake asked me to move in with him but I really love living at home and I just can't decide what to do.
we'll just have to wait and see how i feel in five weeks.

wow. I forgot all about this little gem. I used to spend hours on here telling everyone every little detail of my life that no one ever wanted to hear and then one day a little over two years ago I stopped. and I haven't even thought about it. but here I am tonight, sitting in one of the most boring classes ever and it came to me. livejournal. I wonder if anyone would read it if I posted something? I also forgot how cute my profile picture is. I was such a cool baby.
maybe now I'll give an abridged update on my life incase someone does accidentally read this and cares at all.
I moved out this year, moved into the SHITTIEST dorms that exist, into a tiny cell all by myself. after that got old I moved into a townhouse with a girl from work ( I have worked at Cracker Barrel since May when it opened) and for a little while we had a good time. then she got a little carried away with her good times while I was worrying about school. we were not a god fit. (this is me being mature about the situation) anyway after a couple months I made the best decision I have ever made and moved back home. I am so happy about that. I have never been closer to my parents, I don't think anyone has ever been closer to their parents. they are amazing and I am so thankful for them. My dad was in the hospital this summer and we almost lost him but fortunately he made it. I dated a boy named sam last year for almost a year. we broke up this summer which was definitely for the best. I dated a few guys over the summer but nothing serious. haven't done any dating since then. I got hit by a car when I was riding my bike to school one day last semester. that hurt but nothing was broken just some serious scrapes and bruising. then just as the scrapes were healing I was driving home from a job interview wher eI would have made serious cash and then soem dumb girl turned in front of me and my car was totalled. good news is that now i have a mustang convertible, we are soulmates, I feel complete now.
I am a sophomore at ASU, double majoring in Education and Spanish. I think I will teach political science (that is my specialization) although my dad is convinced I will teach kindergarten. my little sister is almost 18 and that scares me. although she is maturing a lot, hopefully she will make good choices.
other than that there are not many milestones I have had and life is pretty good. maybe I will keep up on this thing now

ok so i gotta say i'm pretty happy right now
becaaaaaaauussssseeeeee
i got the provost's scholarship to asu
and there is this huge burden lifted off of my shoulders
and i know six thousand isn't a lot of money when it comes to paying for college shit
but it is a lot of money when it comes to paying for college shit
so i'm pretty happy
like crazy happy
and
i my daddy surprised me with a new computer monitor to replace my piece of shit one
and
it's awesome
seventeen inches of lcd flat screen
awesome.
this has been a pretty good day.
and now that i finally found my physics book i need to go finish my homework

oh and it's my parents 25th wedding anniversary.
my parents are so cute, i love them
and i had fun at disneyland over the weekend

i actually did stuff last night. i never actually do stuff. usually i just go to dara's house or she come's here. but we actually went shopping and to a movie with courtney. i drove down mckellips to power and we just stopped about half a dozen or more time along the way. i got a bunch of cute stuff. and i loved the movie, we saw just like heaven. cute. i have to go to work and i feel like shit. this'll be fun.

i worked 17 and a half hours this weekend.
yet still managed to hang out with some boys, and my girls and get coffee.
i haven't exactly finished my homework yet, and i could blame that on work but we all know it wouldn't have been done if i hadn't been working.

it was good to see some friends tonight that i haven't seen in a long time. good to know that some things never change.

this morning/afternoon dara visited me while i was atempting to clean my room/house. we ended up trying to solve a Rubick's cube. it consumed our entire day. but we have something to show for it:
